Pony.ai began paid robotaxi service in Zagreb, Croatia on April 8, the first commercial autonomous ride-hailing operation in Europe. The service runs 7am–9pm daily across roughly 90 km² of greater Zagreb including the airport, bookable via the Verne app with Uber integration coming soon. Vehicles are BAIC Arcfox Alpha T5 models equipped with Pony.ai's seventh-generation autonomous system; operations are run in partnership with Verne (a Rimac Group company) and Uber, with Pony.ai targeting 20+ cities globally by end of 2026.
